Newsies was my first professional ALD position. I worked with Lighting Designer Sean Savoie whom I helped by designing follow spots, taking cue notes, and assisting with focus. I am very thankful for the opportunity to work with such a skilled designer and company. I learned a great deal about working under a designer and how that relationship can look as well as how to best manage tense situations during tech.
